Thanks for saying yes." Cameron has yet to publicly comment on the engagement or share a picture of her ring via social media. From the beginning, their love was written in the stars—which just so happens to be the title of their debut single . Known to fans as The Girl and the Dreamcatcher, Cameron and McCarten hit the road in 2015 as a musical duo. The pop stars released a lyric video for their new single, " Someone You Like ," on Thursday.

Last spring, McCartan talked to J-14 about their first date. "I took her out to dinner, [then] I took her out to frozen yogurt, and we went to this place in Hollywood called Bourgeois Pig and got some cider. We sat in this really cute room and just drank some cider and talked," said the actor, who next appears in Rocky Horror Picture Show. "Then I took her up to this place up in the Hollywood Hills that has basically a panoramic 360 view of all of Hollywood and all of the valley. So, we saw all the lights, the Hollywood sign, the Griffith Park Observatory, and it was so romantic. We were up there until 3 in the morning, just talking and looking at the lights. Then I took her home and it was the most perfect, most romantic first date ever."

Cameron felt a spark the moment they kissed. As she once told  Fanlala , "We went to this park, because he's just like Romeo, and he was just like—I'm so grossed out by how cute he is—but he picked me up one day from my apartment. He had a car and he was a hot older boy. This was back before we were like really, really dating. We were just sort of seeing what happened. He took me to this park underneath a tree at sunset. He brought this guitar and he was like, 'Do you wanna come write songs with me in the park?' I was like, 'OK!...You're what movies are about!'"

At one point, "I leaned in to kiss him on the cheek, and he turned his head really quickly and kissed me, because he knew that I was too shy to just kiss him. So, he like tricked me into it...I don't remember this—because in my mind it was magic and sparkles—but I apparently turned away and squealed and turned bright red."

The Descendants  actress admitted she was "really embarrassed" by her behavior. "He said that was the moment that he knew that he was going to have feelings for me for a long time," Cameron explained. "He was like, 'I totally fell for you when you freaked out when I kissed you.' He tells that story a lot better than I do because I make myself sound like a gremlin and he makes it sound really cute."

Cameron Mitchell (November 4, 1918 – July 7, 1994 [1] ) was an American film, television, and Broadway actor with close ties to one of Canada's most successful families, and considered by Lee Strasberg to be one of the founding members of The Actor's Studio in New York City.

Born Cameron McDowell Mitzell in Dallastown, Pennsylvania to Rev. Charles and Kathryn Mitzell, young Cameron moved to Chicora, Pennsylvania in 1921 when his father was accepted as pastor of the St. John's Reformed Church , Butler PA ( Donegal Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania ). [2]

Between the first and second world wars, during his years as a young actor in Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne 's National Theater Company, Fontanne suggested that Cameron's surname sounded "a bit too much like the Hun" and insisted he change it to "Mitchell".

His film career began with minor roles in films dating back to 1945, including They Were Expendable (with John Wayne and Robert Montgomery ), but Mitchell quickly rose to leading man status. He co-starred with Wallace Beery in The Mighty McGurk , with Doris Day and James Cagney in Love Me or Leave Me , with Gary Cooper , Susan Hayward and Richard Widmark in Garden of Evil , with Lana Turner and Spencer Tracy in Cass Timberlane , with Clark Gable , Robert Ryan and Jane Russell in The Tall Men , with Marlon Brando , Merle Oberon and Jean Simmons in Désirée , and with Joanne Woodward and Sheree North in No Down Payment .

Some of his best known films were the 1951 adaptation of Death of a Salesman (he originated the role of Happy on Broadway), the 1952 version of Les Miserables (as Marius), the 1953 comedy How to Marry a Millionaire (with Marilyn Monroe ), and 1956's film version of the stage musical Carousel . He voiced Jesus of Nazareth in The Robe . Mitchell also played a Police Detective in the 1983 film, Dixie Ray, Hollywood Star . [3]

During the 1960s, Mitchell starred in numerous Italian sword and sandal , horror , fantasy , and thriller films, several of which were directed by Mario Bava , including Erik the Conqueror (1961), Blood and Black Lace (1964), and Knives of the Avenger (1966). He also participated in Spaghetti westerns , like Minnesota Clay by Sergio Corbucci . Mitchell played the leader of a white gang in the 1972 film Buck and the Preacher , also starring Sidney Poitier and Harry Belafonte .

He played a comedic role as a '50s gangster in the 1982 comedy My Favorite Year and portrayed right-wing General Edwin A. Walker in Prince Jack (1985).

The 27-year-old singer looked somewhat downcast as she and Taylor, who have been dating for the past two years, were seen stepping out in a rainy Manhattan, while the 31-year-old actor was also unable to raise a smile.

The pair's outing comes amid claims that Gaga is less than impressed by Taylor's blossoming friendship with Cameron, with whom he is currently filming new movie The Other Woman.

A source told the Sun: ' Cameron and Taylor have clicked on set and are getting on really well. They've been hanging out and the news has reached Gaga's camp.

Cameron, 40, has reportedly been spending lots of time with the 31-year-old actor including trips to cafes and restaurants during breaks in filming - and Taylor is said to have introduced the Bad Teacher actress to his family.

Gaga - who is recovering from hip surgery after a labral tear forced her to cancel dates of her Born This Way Ball tour earlier this year - may be at further unease as pictures surfaced of the film stars sharing a steamy kiss in character for the film last week.

The Other Woman, which also stars comedic actress Leslie Mann and Game of Thrones hunk Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, is about a woman who learns her boyfriend is a married man and hatches a revenge plot with his wife.
